say hey ya all.. i bought a big knob custom radio from them.. it was the one they labeled dakobra.. very, very nicely built.. they kept the face plate almost like it was as far as the knobs are concern, but put a cobra 148 inside the dak.. really a sharp looking radio and so far, about a year, it has run beautyafull?? not good at spelling.. the quality of workmanship inside is wonderfull.. all is neat wires are tied so there is no speggittee looking mess.. im trying to get them to do the same to an old dak i have as to put a connex 4300--300 into the shell of the dak.. the dak looks like someone has used a set of wire cutters and a spadeing fork inside it, so being as i liked there work on the dakobra, thought id see if they wood do my set up??? do have the tram vox model and a 201, and a 300..also a 2000 cobra and a 450 R/S. do like the older radios.. being as my hands shake to much for me doing my own work thought id give big knob a try at the dak connex if they wood..been cbing since late 1958 so ive seen alot of radios come and go, but have held on to my trams and cora 2k since new.. just rambling on.. lol

As long as you are happy with the radio, that is all that matters. Daks were nice looking radios, thats for sure.
