Saw this on Facebook. Seems like a well rounded collection this operator has. Someday I'll get an organized shack together like that

And not a solid state radio in sight... Under the lamp... Ham Walkie-Talkies (or is that a scanner?) don't count. It's not on the shelf of honor either....... Oh wait...... Is that a Galaxy Saturn just behind the lamp? Didn't notice that before. Wow, so he has spoiled that wonderful vintage tube collection with a Chinese wannabee. And my eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be.

What a great collection, and was wondering how many were actually hooked up. Look @ the power strips in the bottom center, I see a lot of wires, WOW!!!!!! David g.

Having the ability to switch power and antenna connection between that many radios is not an easy task. But it's nice to have that ability. Although, trying to run a specific radio from a shelf like that (especially on the top row) is rather awkward. What I do, is keep the pile for display purposes, and I pick one to operate and put it on the operating table for the night, and then return it to the shelf when I'm done. It's a lot easier to manage that way and far more enjoyable to operate.

Since stating to collect, I dreamed of a complete set of the Panasonic/ Matsushita tube CB line. I bet there's 30+ different variants = cheap fun for collectors

I bet there's 30+ different variants = cheap fun for collectors The common Panasonic tube chassis has been used in a whole host of brand names and models. There is a difference in features between the different brand variations, but he basic chassis is the same. There are also variants that are similar but not exact copies Such as the Lafayette Comstat 23 as compared to the Comstat 25, as well as changes in design as the years went on, Comstat 25 vs. Comstat 25a.

I wonder if he fixes them or sends them out for repair. I have a lot of the same radios but many need a little work. I like to know who his tech is or can someone recommend a shop that repairs these. I live in the WASH. DC. area and there are no techs here at all.
