Need some help. Got this for $10 for project radio. No DK, TX, nor RX. Condition is fair at best. This was one of those "eye candy radios" I used to see at Radio Shack when I was a kid.
1.D508- Need the ID of this diode. Area is charred and has been repaired. Very shabby repair, lifted trace, etc. The schematic on CB Tricks has a faded ID for this diode (of course).
2. D506, D507. These were clipped. Of course, instead of doing a proper job and unsoldering, they clipped it so close to diode that they are not repairable. Need to be replaced. Schematic says DS1588. Best I could see is 1N4148 equiv. Is this correct?
And that is just for starters.

You probably could get by with 1N4148 diodes for D506 and 507. They are rectifier diodes for the modulation limiter. That fact that it has no TX or RX could be as simple as a missing internal supply voltage. Or it could be a trashed PLL circuit. Hopefully it's the former.
