Pretty sure it's similar to the Demco two-piece base radio. And if it uses the same cable, you're in for a real bug hunt. The plug was a plastic copy of a 12-pin "Compactron" tube's base and pins. The socket was just the same socket used for a 6KD6 or 8950 tube.
Years ago I thought I wanted to fix up a Demco 2-piece base radio. Figured I would replace the oddball 12-pin plug and socket with the Amphenol-style 12-pin plug and socket, the ones that look like an octal tube base. Never got a "round tuit". And since those days, the Amphenol type 86CP12 plug and 78S12 socket have both become more rare. But not quite extinct.
Odds are you'll end up changing the connector type before you'll find that 12-pin "Compactron" style plug for sale.

Hmm. That is not the transmitter I thought it was. Don't see that 12-pin socket. Gotta see if I have that volume of Sams CB series and find out what's wired to that socket.
