Hello, everyone. It's been a long time since I was here, was surprised to see my account still intact. Among a few 1970s rigs I'm trying to resurrect is a Cobra 19M 23-channel mobile. Apparently this was an upgrade to the original 19, in that a meter was added. A small one, at that! (Well, the radio isn't very tall, so...) The two parts I need are the meter (about 1/2" x 3/4", mounted on edge, with the meter movement to the left). I don't know its electrical specifications (coil resistance in Ohms, full-scale current in Microamps, etc), but I hope what was used in the industry was fairly standardized. The second part I need is the Squelch potentiometer, 50 Kilohms, and I'll guess Linear Taper. 7mm mounting bushing with 6mm knurled, split shaft about 5mm long. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks! (Stock photo, not of my particular radio.)

So this is probably the correct control. link Yep, that's it. Thank you, 2600! The meter will be a whole 'nother kettle of fish finding one that works. Indeed. They were, if not all over the place, certainly noticeable in the 1970s. Now, as scarce as proverbial hens' teeth. I still persevere... 73!
