Where is V4 audio (mic) gain potentiometer on the chassis?

I found out the V4 pot is a 'Range Gain' pot as viewed on the CB tricks site in the manual. It seems to act more as a compressor vs a mic gain. Turned up, it limits the forward modulation with a power mic. Not so much with the stock mic. Thus, the potentiometer seems to perform best about 1/2 way of travel (50%) with the power mic. It is located on top of chassis about in center on right side.
