Have a really nice D-201 purchased from ebay 15 years back. All original with original tubes and even zero heat marks under the lid.
Used it for a few months and AM receive started losing much sensitivity first intermittently then full time.
Purchased one of those resistor and capacitor replacement kits from ebay and installed all the parts. Some resistors were off 35% but not more. Didn't check the capacitors.
The work didn't make the problem go away. That's OK I was going to do it anyway.
Found a few new I.F. resonators and replaced those. No dice.
Time to start measuring stuff so I need the correct Sams Photofax.
Which number is the right one?
BTW, just read through all 27 pages here. Great information!
Planning on selling this thing when it works correctly.
TIA.

You have fallen into an odd Twilight Zone of this model radio. The original open-chassis version is posted at the current home of CB Tricks, labeled as the "VOX" version, since all later production used printed circuits. The 40-channel D201A is also posted there, but the in-between radio, the circuit-board 23-channel radio fell into the cracks. current home of CB Tricks is www.cbtricks.orgThe 40-channel D201A is closer to your radio than the VOX version. Seems like eventually someone would pay the local FedEx Office (Kinko's) store to scan the full-size schemo for that radio and post it on the web along with the manual pages. Eventually. In the meantime, you'll find only small differences in the circuit boards between your radio and the D201A. 73
