I have 2 Tram D-201A's i'm recaping and i'm looking at the schmatic and i see C723 listed but neather one of these have C723 in them, I alsp noticed in schmatic it look's as if the Positive side of the cap goes to chassis ground, Can some one post a picture of this cap where it's located and also let me know if the schmatic is correct and the Positive side of the cap does go to ground? I'll included a snap shot of the cap in the schmatic and i circled it. Thank's Scott

It is in the bias network, which runs negative voltage, so you want the positive side of the cap to go to ground.

Don't have a picture handy, but under the chassis, alongside the driver and final sockets is a tie strip running from front to back. Should be connected there.

It's the cap next to the wire wound resistors. Well I was going to post a pic but as usual it's too big.

That's the one. Usually it is parallel to the resistors, as is the other cap 628. C628 has a plastic clamp to hold it in place. Looks like it's missing in your radio. Not a big deal though.

Thanks Air1 Not my picture, Just one i found, Copy on C723 location, I'll replace them in mine as needed. As far as C628. There in my radio with the white clip, In this picture it's just to the left of the yellow circle, it's that 4.7uF 400V radial cap The cap was probibly replaced with 4.7uF rather than the 4uF becuse Mouser doesn't sell a 4uF 400V Radial cap. Thank's Scott
