I have a Sams Photofact for the Regency Imperial (on loan from Spitfire 441) and it is similar to my Range Gain II.
Not sure about the Range Gain, but the wiring for the Imperial is as follows...
looking at the power connector on the rear of the radio, it uses an 8 pin polarized plug with (from left to right) 4 vertical pins and 4 horizontal pins.
Pin 5 & Pin 8 are connected to AC via a power cord. Pin 5 is the horizontal pin in the top middle of the plug, and pin 8 is the horizontal pin on the bottom right of the plug.
the diagram also shows pins 1, 4 & 7 being tied to each other, but that is probably done internally, so you wouldn't need to make those connections.
Again, this is for a Regency Imperial, and my Range Gain II is basically the same radio as the Imperial, minus the product detector for SSB mode. I am not sure if the Range Gain is similar to the RG II, but it may be.
As for the power cord itself, a Cinch Jones type 8 pin connector may be the type you are looking for. I see them on Ebay as well as from electronic supply distributors.
The mic connector for the Imperial is as follows ( if I can read the diagram properly...)
1-audio
2-receive
3-PTT
4-shield
