Anyone ever use a Kodiak quad dx-3 ? I have a brand new one in the box but I don't know any info other than how to assemble.
Currently I have a PDL -2 up and unfortunately it really hasn't proved to be worth keeping. My Super Penetrator ground plane out performs it local or DX talk.
any info on the Kodiak or tips on the PDL 2 would be helpfull.

I have a kodiak 2 element that I run in a square instead of diamond it has outdone my V quad and a,pdl2 I had and a 3element yagi. I built.....,,,I believe you will love that (true)quad over that goofy yagi hybread...at least I did...I now run for a ground pounder,(Cophased Sirio 4000's(3/4 wave or so they say) at 18ft apart,,36 ft high ,with a HyGain cophaser)... back in the day I had the HyGain 525.Golden penetator,, a tornado got mine (1981)and it went DXing without me. ..your very lucky to have that ground plane
