Was a very wild ride on tonights CRR. Thanks to all those who checked in and sorry for the ones I missed. I started out on the Imperial and ended the night on the Browning MK IV. Cheers n Beers. Them Brownings sure do command some attention.

Them Brownings sure do command some attention. They sure do, and once I saw the high skip level, I knew that the Browning would be the radio to run during the roundup. I had several comments from the hitherland like "I hear a Browning out there" or "That Browning sounds good". No other radio is as distinctive. Yea, it was fun last night. But I want to know when Fixr moved into our neighborhood. Every time he jumped in there, he pushed my meter far into the red zone. Many stations came and went, but he was pretty solid every time. Thanks to all who checked in, including Fixr, DQRR, OT402, 598 and anyone else I might have forgotten. I also thought I heard Night Ranger briefly, but before I could get the beam around he was gone again......

You forgot Doctor/ OT795, he was sounding good as well. Out of them all including the ones I heard on the server, Fixer takes the prize for audio and breaking my needle. I had you dead on last night Alan. But they were having church next door last night so I didn't key up I didn't want them to think they were being invaded by a Golden Bird ;D
Oh yeah.... I almost forgot, Bioman/OT1557/Scott was sounding good on that Robyn. I heard you real good down here in Lancaster!

I guess it was far too noisy to hear me down your way, but it was a whole different world with the beam pointing west. The locals were gone and all I could hear was Fixr and the rest of the strong stations. The conditions were changing rapidly though. In one second then gone and someone new took their place.

I tried to get in from my my mobile in Summerville, SC, but South Carolina had no conditions to PA on receive or transmit The only thing I could hear was Canada and the Great Lakes area. Usually I go up to 38 LSB and listen to what is coming in skip. If I hear a station in PA I drop down to where ever the live feed is listening and give it a try.

Man, I actually heard some noise on 27.115 with my Icom 718, but nothing worth trying for, so I reverted to the Online stream and thought a recording would be cool for you guys to hear what you really sound like on the air.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Glad you enjoyed it. Yea, it was cool. I guess the conditions stayed east of the Mississippi, as I heard stations from Montreal to St. Louis, to Georgia and many points in-between.

Someone thought they heard you, and I thought I heard a "Bumblebee #1" for a second too, but by the time I got the beam around to the south, you were gone (if that was you).

DQRR St.Louis Yea, it was brutal, but fun too. I heard you great 3 or 4 different times in between the big guns. That Tram had good pileup-busting audio. I don't know what Fixr has over there but when he keys he sounds like a local, with almost no fading. He was by far the strongest skip signal I heard Wednesday night.
