My ISP is now changing my IP address every week, so I have to update links when that happens. I'm also having some internal router issues, so I took the server down until that is resolved. Eventually I'm going to look into DDNS to get around the weekly IP changes. But don't worry, it will be back.....

Since tonight is Classic Radio Roundup, I will make a special effort to get the live feed back on so the fans can check in and listen. The link on this board will not work, you'll have to use This Link to get there for now. I'll leave it up afterward like before, but chances are that next week I'll have a different IP address again, and I'll have to change the link again.

Dave, your website is down, too. I was checking for more reviews. All the links are dead.

Dave, your website is down, too. I was checking for more reviews. All the links are dead. The website is run on my ISP's servers, so that should not be affected by any local issues that I might be having with my audio server. As of right now 7:12 AM 9/11/08 the website (and audio) are working. In the last week or so, I ran across some strange DNS server issues that make certain websites I access come up as not there. I changed to a different DNS server and the problem went away. As for radio reviews, I am hopelessly behind in that area. I have had my actual radio bench time greatly curtailed in the last few months, so consequently, I haven't been doing much in the way of radio reviews. However, I am in the process of penning another nostalgic story or two, but I'm starting to run out of personal anecdotes to feed from. But don't lose hope just yet......

The stories are great. While you are a few years older, I can remember many things about the 1970's. I vividly remember nearly every other car and home having an antenna.

Sounded good tonight on the live feed. Wish I could tie into it and talk from my computer.

Sounded good tonight on the live feed. Wish I could tie into it and talk from my computer. Yea, Classic Radio Roundup is still going strong every Wednesday night. Tonight's cast of radios included a Tram Titan IV, a D201A, a Courier 23+ and a President Washington.

Another fun CRR night. An item of note is it seems the brand of tube makes some difference in audio. Running genuine Zenith tubes in the Courior. I am told much cleaner sounding than running Russian 6BQ5's.
