Going through my D201 checking the AGC voltage on green and white wire. Shows .509 insted of .3 volts
Bad cap ,resistor diode???

Wide tolerances. That reading is typical, but not carved in stone. It can be affected by one tube that is only a little weak, or the drift of resistance value from parts in the AGC circuit.
If the radio hears weak signals, and doesn't overload on strong ones, I wouldn't worry about that particular reading.
And if it has trouble doing either of those two things, that would be something to worry about. A zero-signal AGC reading can be influenced by stray noise that the radio picks up from a nearby TV, computer, or the switchmode regulator inside a nearby wallwart, or even a compact fluorescent lamp. If putting the bottom cover back on reduces this reading, noise pickup is a factor.
