I am in need of the hook up information and presets to connect a Glen 326-G to a VOX version Tram D201. I only plan to use the rig for AM. I downloaded the partial manual from the CB tricks website, but it does not have any of the specific info I need. If someone has the complete Glen manual (if such a thing exists), I will gladly pay for the copying costs and postage for a copy of it. Thanks

The Glen manual just lists the D201, nothing about the VOX model. I don't know if they're the same but you can get a complete manual by e-mailing to this address: gbarkett@msn.com

First, the hookup is pretty simple. Unplug the gray RCA plug from the inboard socket on the Tram's crystal board. A patch cable from the Glenn to this cable should be made from some kind of RF coax cable. A plastic audio jumper may lose too much of the Glenn's output drive.
Set the Glenn's switches to read all zeroes on standby.
Now set it back to operate, and set the band switch on the rear to get you near 21 MHz. The threaded coil-slug adjustment will get you closer. Channel 1 is 20.710.
Now, go back to standby, and set the DIP switches inside to read 6.253 or 6.254. Now when you go back to operate, you should see your 27 MHz frequency. The threaded shaft on the rear that sets the coil adjustment can now be set to cover as far down as you want on the "low" band. And if it doesn't go up far enough on the high band, you'll need to fine-tune the coil adjustment for this.
Sorry, don't have the explicit switch settings for 6.253.
The Glenn is not stable enough for SSB, so it's a good thing all you want to use it for is AM.

This is what I have for the DIP switches. With all of the switches in each block they want them all set to on. Then, for a 6, set 2, 3, off. For a 2, set 2, off. For a 5, set 3, 4, off. For a 3, set 2, 4, off. I hope that this helps you.

Here are the switch settings. The larger image linked to the thumbnail pic should have enough detail to copy the setup. And here's what it should read on standby for AM and for LSB. Not sure which position of the band switch on the rear is right. Once the DIP Switches are set this way, you can get the band switch and the coarse-tune coil on the rear panel close by aiming for 27 MHz on the display. 73
