The receive volume on my MK III receiver is slowly dropping.
I was thinking that it is a tube issue but just wanted some opinions.
Signal strength has not changed at all.

Try replacing C237 8uf150V and C239 5uf50V electrolytic capacitors. Bet C237 took a dump! This is one of the big reasons for a 100,000 mile tune up. They go bad one by one. Soon as you replace one the radio has another issue.

Looked at the schematic could not find a C237??
But if your talking about the caps conected to pin 8 of V9 and
Pin 2 of v10 then we got a match? Marc

Sorry, You said MarkIII. You should have a 4uf150V cap. (C64) this is tied to pin 8 of V9. (12AX7) Danger! High voltages are present. Work should only be performed by a qualified tech. Thought I would mention that fact.

Yes, I was changing my post as you were reading it. I am building a MarkIV right now. Have the IV on the brain.

I used to do that with my 148gtl and 2000 unit all the time.
