Have D201HW lost all trans & receive. Lights come on, all tubes swapped from a working Tram did not help. Will not key. 238

Have you tried swapping out the relay from the working D201 ? Might give that a try to eliminate it. Sniper

Check the 14-Volt DC power. The regulator transistor is under the deck behind the speaker.

Went an checked it, showed 14.6v on both legs. V603 has no voltage to pin2. CV5a has 556v on it. C624 has no voltage on it. All the tubes light up. 238

C624 has four sections.
Are they ALL dead? One section should only show voltage on transmit.
Sure sounds like one of the large wirewound resistors has gone open, like maybe R6, R8 or R9.
There is a 1-Amp diode D6 feeding two sections of C624. Doesn't fail often, but it's quick to check. Should show the same 400 Volts DC on both sides of the part.
Does the other side of C5 show the exact, same voltage as the side you checked? It has three sections, but two of them are wired together, as if it were only a 2-section part. If the section that has only one wire on it shows voltage, but the two sections tied together are dead, then R6 is an open circuit. That one doesn't fail often. When it does, a shorted filter cap (like C5) is the likeliest cause. And a main fuse in the rear-panel fuseholder that's TOO big.
And pin 2 of V603 SHOULD show zero Volts DC. What it SHOULD show is 6.3 Volts *AC*. If you see the tube's heater light up, you can skip checking pin 2. Pin 3 should show about 390, pin 4 about 350, and pin 8 around 31 Volts.

R6 was bad. I jumped it with a 100ohm/3w to test it. Radio worked find, now i will get the right one. The guy that owns the radio is on disability, when i can fix it, it helps him. He thanks you & i do to. 238
