Hey All,
Anyone got the tube complement drawing for a Browning S-Nine 6-channel transmitter? Based on the 23/S-Nine TX tube complement drawing I have, the 6-channel tube complement does not appear to be the same as the 23 channel.
In addition to having every tube that the 23 channel model has, the 6-channel model ALSO has a 6BV8 tube plus an octal tube that I can't identify. The octal tube is the one I'm trying to I.D. and ends in "GT". Could it be a 5Y3GT? No numbers are printed on the chassis.
Thanks,
Midnight

Tried to send a copy, never got it right. V6/6bv8 left rear. V7/5y3 is to the right of it. 238

Wow, that was quick, 238...thanks much! I've been digging into my old radios tonight and am in the middle of a two-hour sneezing fit with all of the vintage dust on the tubes.
73 and thanks again, Midnight

If you are going to play with these old Browning, the best thing is call Maycom an get their cd on Browning. It will have all them on 1 cd. #269 429 8522. Barketts might have the same thing. 238

Thanks for the tip, 238. For the most part, I save my pennies up to send them out, but I sure like the idea of having that resource.
