Was wondering if you can simply exchange crystals in a Mark III.
I want to swap out ...maybe a couple of A and B frequencies for channel 37 and 38. For both TX and RX is this possible?
Thanks much.

No problem. Just have the crystals that you want custom-made by International Crystal at www.icmfg.com/Or JAN crystal www.jancrystals.comNot cheap. Or put a slider on it. Like maybe this one. 73

Nope.
The slider is a transmit-only accessory. It connects in place of one transmit crystal. Select that crystal socket on the transmitter's channel-selector knob, and now the knob on the slider controls your transmit frequency. Only.
The receiver is totally independent of the transmitter. Expanding the receiver's frequency coverage is a totally separate operation, and requires one or more crystals that are NOT the same as any of the transmitter's crystals.

2600,
That looks to be a Siltronics model 90 with a digital readout. Nice conversation. Takes the place of a counter I take it? Sure would like to do that to my 90. ;D
