Holy Heck! Someone actually published a book about their CB radio experiences? I enjoyed putting together my website and retelling the stories of my time on the band. But I figured it would never have a wide enough appear to earn any real money. Maybe I was underestimating the appeal..... The more people I run into from back in those days, the more I find that our stories are eerily similar. So similar in fact, that if you change the names, dates and places, they might as well have been the same.

I am buying it. And you should write one. I may have to think about it. It might be a good time as people start waxing nostalgic about the 70's and the various fads which highlighted the decade.

Do it. And do it chronologically. You website is one reason I got back into this. Wow... That's certainly high praise, Thanks! I did the website to ignite buried memories in people who enjoyed radio back in the pioneering days, and hopefully get some old blood back into it and show some of these newbies how radio used to be done. I have a few new ideas for the website, so look for them soon. If I do the book thing, it'll probably be a repackaged version of the website, formatted to be read sequentially. I'm not sure if I would want a chronological account, or just arranged by subject (people, equipment, events etc.). We'll have to see........

When you think about it everyone's experiences from back in the day are eerily the same. If the time has come for that type of book don't pass up the opportunity. Sandbagger, I can tell from reading your posts that you have the talent for such a thing. Go for it. I know that it would be filled with stories that most of us could tell about.
