As an ex professional drinker ( I haven't touched a drop for eleven years), I recommend to just keep drinking. On the serious side, I haven't been married for some twenty years now and all of my long time real friends have passed away, it plays on my mind a lot and I get depressed and lonely. Sorry for the downbeat reply. Even all but one CBer is gone too and this all leaves a big gap and it's not fun anymore. Take care!

You could always mount a mirror next to you when you drink. ;D
Seriously though, if your wife thinks you have a problem you two should at least talk about it and address the concerns.
In the days of my youth I was a pretty heavy drinker, but now that I'm older (wiser?)I've come to learn that moderation is the key. A drink or two is fine and actually good for you, but more than that all the time is a wee bit excessive.
