Anybody know anything about this radio?? It is working great on AM but only puts out about 7 watts on SSB even with the ALC turned up. It keys 4 watts and swing to well over 20 on AM>

If you go to CBTricks.com, go to the CB secreats site, and look up the radio by model number.
You can find clarifier and additional channel mods there.

I have a mint as new SRT, the slant face combo mobile / base SSB'er and my serial # is only off from Your by 1 digit.
I have the original owners manual with detailed schematic that I can look over along with my radio tech buddy who tuns and repairs all my Ham and CB gear and we can text You here with the mod - tune you want , or scan and send to You the entire diagram.
