My neighbor and I have put together a 4 element Yagi from spare parts. It is pointed West currently because so much DX has come from that direction lately. The rotor I have is too light for this antenna, so we're working on getting another one; hopefully soon. For local/vertical communications I've put up an end fed Dipole. Everything seems to be working fine so far.

If you are looking for a good deal, try Norm's. www.rotorservice.comIf your antenna has a light enough wind loading, you might be able to get away with a Radio Shack TV rotator.

How long is the boom on that Homerbb? Sure looks like a nice set-up.

I had a friend back in the late 1970's using a Radio Shack rotator on a Avanti Moonraker IV. After high winds he'd have to run it back and forth to re-align it, but the darn thing worked fine.

It's raining today, but when the weather clears it's going on the beam.
