CORRECTION >>> Audio Board <<< Hey Guys, check this out. 1st: I found that I could no longer log in here from Firefox any more , that is strange ? Anyway's, my radio repair buddy has been trying to make my turd D201-A work and he is stummped on the balance modulator board, he says this board is not stock and quit possibloy is the main reason my Tram stinks on the side band. Can You guys take a look at this and see if You notice what is out of place and what the heck the last golden screw ball driver did to this board ? thanks Attachments:

That pot on the bottom of the board is not there on the D201. I don't know if that is an upgrade (they did some changes to the biasing on the audio output tube in the later 201A's), or an aftermarket mod.

It is different from 1 of my 2 D201A's, as I have to still unpack from the move. Should have it done by the end of the weekend. I cannot swear by the correct build of that board, by the radio I just looked at. I know my other radio, as it was bought new by me. I know this is an old post... Reply and I'll try to help you out.
