I wouldn't put too much stock in these types of stories. While shock value is high, there is very little evidence which can be verified with any degree of certainty. The authors of these pieces expect the reader to take them totally at their word. There are a great number of people out there who like to spread conspiracy stories, and have been doing so for years. Most of them turn out to be little more than National Enquirer-worthy tripe. |

I agree, too. It's probably paranoia but you never know. I don't completely believe anything I read and even question what I see but I don't want involved in anything like this. I have a friend that now lives in California that's obviously paranoid, but maybe not, I don't want to know. He keeps sending me links to websites dealing with conspiracies and such. I don't open them. He also openly sends me e-mails about government conspirancy and revolution. I don't disuss this with him or even answer him. There's no such thing as privacy on the internet or e-mail. You don't know who's watching everything and you can bet that everything is being monitored and I don't want anyone watching me and getting the wrong idea about what I may say. I figure that this will lead to nothing but trouble.

Nothing you type on a computer today is 'private'. Even a locked forum such as this one can be easily breached and viewed.
And there is no private email. If it goes out from your system there is someone that can see it.

If it goes out from your system there is someone that can see it. Privacy is relative. Your E-mail can be kept from the prying eyes of most casual lurkers, but anyone with the desire and the computer skills can find a way to intercept it, or retrieve it from the server.... |
