Mint vintage Royce 1-675 40 channel CB radio from the 1970s with classic 1970s wood grain face. Receive antenna is a rotatable horizontal dipole at 30 feet. I actually recorded this at the same time the CRR was going on. You can see me stop on 13 during the video, but there was nothing to hear in South Carolina. www.youtube.com/watch?v=woEKdaXVf88Night Ranger

Another E-Bay find? Yea, we've been somewhat fortunate that the F-layer skip dies out with the setting of the sun, so CRR ends up with pretty good local conditions. Otherwise we'd get buried underneath all those cowboy kilowatts out there.......

That's not the same Royce you bought a couple of years ago, virgin in the box ? Another E-Bay find? That is a different Royce. The one that is still sealed in the plastic is a Royce 1-612. I have a good used Royce 1-612 that I will be making a video of though. Night Ranger
