I have acquired one of these beautiful old radios, but it does not have the original "Clar-O-Mic". I wish to wire up an ordinary off-the-shelf dynamic type microphone. I was wondering if anyone would have a microphone pin-out/wiring guide for this classic. I don't want to try and short out pins in the normal manner to find tx/rx/audio/ground, as at least one of the pins has voltage on them. I'm really itching to get her up and running again, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance, J. Attachments:

thanks cbrown, it is a 6 pin mic, as you are probably aware. So I just ignore pins 4, 5 & 6? Attachments:

Correct. You just need pins 1, 2 & 3. Pin 3 keys the relay for transmit, Pin 1 supplies the audio feed and Pin 2 is the common.
Pin 4 is power feed, I think +12 volts. Pins 5 & 6 were for the remote tune, which was a microphone mounted clarifier..

Congrats on getting that Robyn, it's a cool looking radio. Hope it gets back on the air soon.
