Got this sweet Robyn T 240D for 75.00 today!! I also got a Robyn SB540D for 45.00 as well.... ;D I don't know much at all about the 540 but i do know it looks like the ARF 2001... Attachments:

Thats only the 2nd. 540 I have ever seen. I saw one on Ebay a couple of years back and don't recall ever seeing one in "the flesh". Great find! I'd be interested to see how it performs....It does kinda resemble an ARF somewhat.

I've never worked on that model Robyn, but I understand they use the venerable Uniden 858 chassis like the Cobra 139XLR and Realistic TRC-457/458. So that opens up the door for some fun tinkering......

The first onre i EVER saw in person was in about 1993-1995 or so and IIRC it was silver and the shop owner said it was the only one he ever saw as well!!! This black one i now have is the SECOND ONE i have ever seen in person!!!!
