I would suggest that each of those 120VAC primary supplied power supplies are on separate breakers, each on the opposite A-B bus bars in the breaker panel for maximum effect.

Volts, that's easy to obtain 13.8 VDC, but to get 140 amps of current at said volts not as easy. More $$$.

Probably. Bet that supply is rock stable, though. You bet! I can go from idling current, to 50 amps and the voltage reading doesn't flinch. I haven't pushed it to the full 120 amps yet, but I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't handle it.

I was pushing the parrelell 70 amp Astrons last night to 120 amps and the volt meter never moved. 2-2879's driving 8-2879's. I was seeing 300 dk and about 12-1400 peak.
