It was nights like these that I loved talking on the CB in the early 1980s. Everyone seemed to be on on nights like these. Brings me back.

That's a far better place to be than outside shoveling snow...... But you're right. Nothing brought out the activity than bad weather and road hazards..... And having off from school.

I think about the same thing, only my recollections come from the mid sixties sitting behind my USL Contact 23 radio. BTW, I still have it. Many happy snowy nights to everyone.

Not to many snowy nights out here on the left coast but FOG is another story can come in at dusk and by 6:30 cant see a foot past your nose have helped many travelers Not familiar with fog run up and down this valley.

You bet all good memories! It was great and as I have recently found out it still is great. Can't wait though for the weather to give me a break so I can drop the tower and get the new Y-Quad up and operating so I can check into the round up on Wednesday night. Although I am older some things remain the same. Now I pray for school to be canceled not because I have to go but because I drive the bus!
