Anyone have any information on this radio regarding the crystal mixing scheme? thanks! I have a mint example and am wanting to be able to put other crystals in it. It holds 2 transmit crystals with a 23 tunable receive.

The good news is that the Sams volume CB-1 is no longer under copyright. The first three volumes of that series are legal to copy and distribute. The tech details for this model should be found there.
The bad news is that the CB Tricks web site info is in flux at the moment. The original site went down, and mirrors of it seem to lack the diagrams and info for that model.
Oops.
There are efforts underway to mirror what used to be found at cbtricks.com.
Film at 11.

You can get there from here: robco.nitwitz.org/cb_tricks/ It shows only one model under Regency but if you click on it will open up showing many models.
