CB radios with push-button switches are sealed thus cleaning are a challenge. Some Courier and Royce use the push-button switches among others. Disassembly is not encouraged as reassembly is a serious challenge. There is a tiny rectangle window on the top of the switch. Placing the DeOxit wand flush on this small opening will force the DeOxit liquid inside thus cleaning the switch.
Most relays are soldered in place and have a plastic cover. Removing the cover can damage the solder connections and the relay itself. Simply, on the electrical contacts side use a hot solder pencil tip to melt a small hole on top of the relay plastic case. Then, squirt DeOxit with the wand thru the hole to clean the contacts. Works every time.
