Changing out the cap & resisters on the 6AQ5/c4 tube. Calls for a 5mfx50v cap. I have a 4.7 uf & a 10 uf x 50 volts. Would ether one work? Jim/238

A 4.7uf cap and one that says 5uf are interchangeable. If you think about it the difference between 4.7 and 5 is about 6 percent. That kind of cap is commonly sold with 10% or 20% tolerance. Makes the practical difference between those two more or less zero.

I found 1 bad 6BA6. The receive is working better. Only thing is you have to put the receiver on ch22 with transmitter on ch20. Jim/238
